Some Lightning experiments this summer...
Not the best... but, hours & hours of trying... and killing my batteries... I think after the 5th storm, I was out of energy from trying... 

Ducks at Whitman's Pond in Weymouth

The Ducks! 

I shot these at the end of July. I used various filters, 2 kinds of UV filters, 2 kinds of Polarizing filters,  and some without, also at different times of the day.

The water is incredibly clear! You can see quite a lot of these algae weeds in the water, and I THINK that's why the water is so clear.

I was told by a local that there was loads of restoration work for this. And, Weymouth has a number of interesting reservoirs throughout the Town/City which are massive. 1 in the South has a water treatment facility for the town/city.

This also has a waterfall & a trout run.
