Autumn in Pond Meadow Park (2013) 001

Pond Meadow Park is located in both Weymouth & Braintree MA (Greater Boston) 
Fall 2013

Notes: I kept having problems this fall with trying to do some photos here. Either, due to traffic, I would get to the park, and miss all the good spots because the sun went down quickly, or , if I went earlier in the day, there would be clouds, or the angle of the sun wasn;t good.

After about 5 tries in September & also again in October, I gave up. It costs money to buy gasoline, and I don;t own my own personal automobile either.

So, unfortunately, many of these photos came out looking dark, creepy, and ominous... which could be a good thing.... if only that's what I was going for... it wasn't.

But, they could be of interest anyway, so I'm going through them looking for the more interesting frames.

Arrival of The Ominous Storm Front in Marcus Hook PA

 

This storm RUINED my other photography project!


But, at least several of these got published in Yahoo Weather App!

A Flock of Seagulls!!!

-and I raa-a-a-an, I ran so far awaaaay-ay-ay!

 So, I still have a thing for lampposts... It's my style..

 Basically, what you're seeing is the storm front rolling in. You can also see clear sections of the sky.
I also got rained on after I shot these.

The river you are seeing it The Delaware River, from Marcus Hook Municipal Park, in PA. The land you see on the other side is New Jersey.

The Delaware River is the landmark border which separateness NJ from PA. NOt only that, but the soil in NJ, is totally different than the soil in PA.

You could grow tomatoes on this side of the river, and tomatoes on the opposite side, from the same pack of seeds, and the same time, but they won;t taste or look anything alike.

     

Dusk Abandoned Factory

I'm not exactly sure what type of factory this was. I was told it was a silk factory, but I can't confirm that. It's somewhere near the border on Delaware & Pennsylvania. I'm not sure about that either... Somewhere near Marcus Hook or Claymont.
