Reflections [South Field]

Reflections

I planned these ahead of time, but had to wait for the right weather. I walked all the way to South Field (MA) and shot these. My lower back was KILLING ME.

Anyways, these wouldn't have the same feeling or mood if they were in color.... so, that's what i was experimenting with....

The Creepy Storm Clouds

It doesn't show it here, because my SLR had 2-3 filters on it... but, these clouds actually had a weird creepy greenish hue to them which was freaking everyone out. (No, I don't feel like changing it either.)

The air smelled of smoke, and fumes also...  and the thunder was extra loud long before the rain actually hit us.

The rain  came down very hard, and the parking lot flash flooded a bit...

Creepy, huh?

Dark Sakura

This was what I was TRYING to photograph.... had the clouds not abruptly appeared, the angle of the sunlight would've had these blossoms glowing quite gloriously like they were on fire... almost! These are the red crab-apple sakura!

During the day, the sunlight wasn't right, or in shade. But, the storm came n washed them away...
